Nononono! How could this happen? Hasn’t it been pretty well agreed upon that circus sideshow videos are played out? When Panic! At the Disco and Shane Drake won their MTV Music Video award for one of their three or four clips that all recycled the same basic concept did you not shake your head and say, “Damn, even though we inexplicably loved that warmed over, barely original idea, I guess we shouldn’t use it now that it’s received international exposure and accolades.”?
Guess not.
If you’re gonna use it, at least put some real freaks in there! Gimme a bearded lady! Limbless midget! Headless chicken! Limbless-headless-midget-bearded-chicken-woman-lady! Something! Maybe a guy lifting something heavy? Anything but more boring, face painted contortionists!
Well, ok, I’ll give you this: there are people are jump-roping fire at the end of this video. That automatically makes it not a complete waste of everyone’s time. And I guess it’s better than just laying anime clips over the music and pretending it means something.
And you’re not Nickelback. Congratulations on that.
