Timbaland Feat. Keri Hilson & Nicole Scherzinger - ‘Scream’ Music Video Review
Timbaland is normally THE man, he can lay his hands on any musical artist and transform what talent they already have in to gold. Unfortunately, I think I’ve just heard his first failure, as this song is a steaming pile of horse crap.
It’s got the trademark Timbaland bassline style, and all the ingredients are there, but it’s just that the final recipe ends up more like a dog’s dinner than anything else.
Two of The Pussycat Dolls provide the voices, but unfortunately their voices are lost in the melee of the arrangement, with both of them being engineered to within an inch of their lives.
The video is even worse, with a weird combination of Timbaland looking and acting like a pimp, and the girls cavorting sexily around some muscle cars.
There is also the weird addition of a balaclava in to the mix. Maybe I’m missing something here, but is that meant to be the latest fashion accessory or something? She might as well have worn a gimp mask.
Shoddy isn’t a word I’d normally associate with Timbaland, but this song and video both come under that description. The man who turns everything he touches to gold, has just made a shiny turd.
