Sara Bareilles - ‘Love Song’ Music Video Review | What A Descriptive Title!
With a title like Love Song, this track needs to tick certain boxes for me:-
1. It needs to be a song - SCORE
2. It needs to be about love - SCORE
3. It needs to be good enough to warrant such a generic title as Love Song - MISS
This isn’t really a bad song, but it’s also not anywhere near being at the top of its genre, or the best example of a love song by any means.
It’s pretty boring to be honest, just moseying its way through from beginning to end with not much going on in what could be classed as the middle.
The video is better, showing imagination and the use of some clever visual ideas. But with a song so dour and uninvolving, what is the point of putting any effort in to watching the music video?
