MIMS - ‘Like This’ Music Video Review | Almost As Untalented As Soulja Boy

Any regular readers of Killed By The Video Star will know my problem with the new generation of rappers - the majority are untalented, derivative, unoriginal and shouldn’t be getting paid for the crap they are putting out.
The worst I’ve heard so far is Soulja Boy, who unbelievably managed to put out a worse second single than the first one, and his début was ludicrously bad.
While MIMS isn’t quite as bad as Soulja Boy, this song still sucks in a thoroughly major way. What happened to the innovative rappers like Jay Z and Kanye West?
The guy can’t rap very well for starters, I’ve heard better MCs at my local nightclub. And then the lyrics he chooses to use are completely devoid of any skill or meaning, they’re repetitive and dull.
The video follows the usual crap hip hop artist blueprint of the rapper making all kinds of facial expressions and threats to the camera, with some women and dancing thrown in for good measure.
After watching this, I just want to ask the guy who he thinks he is. You’re nothing, you have no talent, and the song you have produced is a pile of steaming horse crap. Capiche?
