Mariah Carey - ‘Touch My Body’ Video Review | Are People Still Buying This Crap?
At one time, Mariah Carey was brilliant, for about 6 months way back in I forget when. No-one could touch her for sheer pop classics with a brilliant voice as the icing on the cake.
Now though, she’s a dried up old prune, with a face to match. I was never one of the many men who fancied her, but now she is looking like a caricature of her former self.
Although I thought it was impossible, she’s hit new lows with this song. What the hell is she going about? It’s not a good idea to try and mimic Britney Spears, but that’s what it looks like she is doing.
The background has nothing to it, just being a very simple beat and melody, which leaves Carey’s voice needing to make up thr shortfall, which unfortunately it doesn’t.
The video is even worse than the song, with an attempt at humour that just makes me laugh at Mariah for agreeing that the storyboard looked good in the first place.
It amazes me that there is anyone left alive buying this shit, and if you reading have done so, you should be ashamed at yourself. Go get some music taste… pronto.
