Limp Bizkit - ‘Rollin’ Music Video Review | Fred Durst Dancing Like A Loon…
It’s time for another dose of retro heaven today on Killed By The Video Star, as we go back to the days when Fred Durst actually had some credibility. Yes, those days did exist.
This isn’t my favourite Limp Bizkit video, but it is probably the best known one, and the song still gets played in clubs to the day… and I still do the funny dance.
The start features Ben Stiller and Stephen Dorff, and this is actually one of the first rock videos I remember having A list actors in, shame they don’t actually do much.
The bulk of the video is filmed on top of the World Trade centre, which watching now gives it a weird feel. But that’s not as weird as seeing Durst dancing like a nut job.
The song is still good to this day, although music has certainly moved on a fair bit since it was recorded. Catchy as hell, and with a chorus anyone can sing along to.
Song: 9/10
Video: 7/10
