“Never Enough”
Album: This Is My Year EP
$1500, three weeks from concept to completion, and shot during the midst of move in weekend for every college in the Boston area–it’s a miracle we ever even finished this video. My favorite moment of the shoot probably came when the police kept us from finishing shooting our band footage. Even though we were in the parking lot of a diner on the side of a highway, apparently it was too loud for their tastes. The lesson I learned? Shoot the lead singer first, not last.
Having enough footage of the lead man is almost as important, if not more so, than good master shots. Seems like that’d be pretty obvious, but in the chaos of a speedy pre-production, it got forgotten about and we almost got screwed.
Anyway, I’m not going to go on and on about my own work–that would be lame of me. Take a look and see what you think! Don’t be afraid to leave some feedback!
Shot on an XL2 with a 35mm lens adapter and a four prime lens kit.

I enjoyed that very much; it looked like a lot of fun to make! And it held my attention through a song I probably ordinarily would have tuned out…
