This video is unquestionably well shot, but beyond that, there’s not much really going on here. Hey…just like the song! BAA-zing!

Basically, Faith and Tim have eloped to Paris, where she looks hot and he looks like someone told him he was doing a guest spot on Walker, Texas Ranger. They look into each other’s eyes for an uncomfortably long period of time (My challenge to you: let the video load, select any spot along the timeline at random, and if they aren’t staring longingly at each other, well, you’re a luckier man than I.) and walk off down a moonlit Parisian street.

Yawn.

Listen, Tim. I’m pretty sure when Faith suggests “Let’s make love all night long/Until all our strength is gone” she’s looking for a little less being a wimpy puss and a little more Last Tango action. Come on, Casanova! Break out the butter and handcuffs! She wants your spicy southwest sausage! If you sap her strength like she’s asking you to, I guarantee you’ll still have plenty of time to stare into her eyes later when you’re trying to figure out if she’s conscious or not.
