Buckcherry - ‘Sorry’ Music Video Review | I Thought It Was The Hardest Word?
Buckcherry are a new band on me, I’ve never heard of them! It seems like they’re one of those weird groups who seem destined to just stay in the States.
I only know about this song, Sorry, (no, I’m not apologising, that’s the title) because of I regularly check Billboard to review videos that my American readers might know.
I’m guessing from the way the band look, long hair, tattoos etc that they’re normally more of a rock band, whereas this is an out and out ballad, and quite a decent one at that.
The song is all about the lyrics, which see the singer opening his heart up to a girlfriend (or ex girlfriend at least), and it makes for a heartfelt song, although his voice is quite annoying at this pitch.
Apparently this video is an old one, and it’s been remade now, but as YouTube seem to have deleted all of the new versions, this will have to do.
It’s a pretty simple affair, showing cuts between the band playing, and scenes of the relationship failing, but what else could they have done really?
Song: 7/10

I can’t believe this song even gets airplay. The lyrics could have been written by a 3 year old. Buck Cherry used to be an up and coming band, then got dropped by their label. That is - until they filmed their own video for ‘Crazy Bitch’ that had a collection of strippers, with nudity. The video became a hit and got them resigned.
