Avril Lavigne - ‘Hot’ Music Video Review | Just An Excuse To Ogle Her In Fancy Dress
I can’t help myself, she’s gorgeous, and more so in this video than I’ve ever seen her. So when I was busy deciding which song to review today, this stood out for me.
But enough old man perving, time to concentrate on what we’re here to do: critiquing the song, video, and the girl herself.
The song is quite old school, and reminds me of Avril (see how we’re on first name terms) from a few years ago, which is a good thing in my book.
As good as her new style of song like Girlfriend is, this makes me feel all fuzzy and warm inside because it takes me a back a few years, when I wasn’t staring middle age down the barrel of a gun.
The subject matter may be very young, telling someone they are hot, so much so that you want to lock them in a cupboard, but it doesn’t matter when it’s delivered in such eloquent pop fashion.
The video sees Lavigne dress up in various fancy dress costumes, of which my favourite is the French cabaret costume from Moulin Rouge… low cut bodice and all.
I still hate that Whibley guy… what’s he got that I haven’t? Oh yeah, Avril, the lucky so and so.

You know what I found interecting about this girl was the fact that when she was in her more “punky” stage she said that she hated pop and this and that and then she goes right into doing her thing with pop music. Then the person trys to use the excuse that they are maturing musically. $$$
